Two questions arrive more than any others. What size do I take, and why can I not get a Large in Berry. Both have short answers.
Measure a shirt, not yourself
Lay a t-shirt you already like flat and measure straight across the chest, one inch below the armholes. That single number tells you more than a body measurement, because this blank is cut roomy and a chest measurement taken off your body will push you a size too big.

These are the blank manufacturer's published measurements for the Comfort Colors 1717, in inches, measured flat. We have not measured shirts ourselves, and we would rather say that than dress someone else's chart up as our own testing.
How it wears
The cut is relaxed and boxy. The body is knitted as a tube, so there are no side seams to pull the silhouette in. It hangs straight from the chest down.
If you like a shirt that skims the body, take the size below your usual one and check the chest number first. If you like room, stay where you are. Nobody needs to size up on this blank.
Because the fabric is dyed after it is sewn, most of the shrinking already happened before the shirt reached the printer. Wash cold and tumble dry low and the fit stays close to the chart.
Why the size list changes when you switch color
Our print partner stocks an uneven run of this blank, and we can only sell what they hold. This is not a stock problem on our end, and it is identical across all six designs.
Black is the only color that carries S through 4XL. Berry and Blossom carry two sizes each. Everything else sits somewhere in between. The grid on the home page lays out every combination, and the size buttons on a product page change the moment you switch color.
If a size button disappears when you pick a color, that combination does not exist. It is not sold out and it will not come back next week.
What to do if your size only exists in one color
Two honest options. Take the color that carries your size, or take a size up in the color you want and accept a looser shirt. Given the cut, a size up wears fine on this blank. Going a size down does not.
What we cannot tell you
We cannot tell you how it fits a specific body, because we have not handled one on a person. We can tell you the chest number and the length number, and we can tell you those numbers come from the maker of the blank. Everything past that is guesswork, and we are not going to guess at you.
